A full rollout is planned for the end of 2025, with the company gradually launching the functionality in select U.S. states.<\/p>\n<p>Users will be able to top up their accounts with cryptocurrency, which will be automatically converted into fiat currency for subsequent use in store purchases.<\/p>\n<p>OnePay is a fintech company founded by Walmart and venture firm Ribbit Capital in 2021. According to sources, the firm aims to create a <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bitwise-identifies-the-next-major-narrative-in-the-crypto-market\">\u201csuper app\u201d<\/a>, with cryptocurrency integration being one of the first steps in this direction.<\/p>\n<p>A number of major companies have already added cryptocurrencies to their services. A notable example is the payment giant PayPal, which <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/paypal-launches-bitcoin-buying-and-selling-for-us-users\">integrated<\/a> digital assets back in 2020 and even <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/paypal-launches-paypal-usd-stablecoin-pyusd\">launched<\/a> its own stablecoin, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-paypals-pyusd-stablecoin\">PYUSD<\/a>, in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>In mid-September this year, the firm also <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/paypal-to-integrate-bitcoin-and-ethereum-into-p2p-payments\">announced<\/a> the release of a P2P platform.
