This has raised concerns about potential pressure on the asset&#8217;s price, which has risen by 83% over the past year.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Grayscale has joined the staking queue. The company has deposited 272,000 ETH worth $1.21 billion. However, this does not threaten the network&#8217;s stability \u2014 over 1 million validators remain active, holding 35.6 million ETH, which constitutes 29.4% of the total supply.<\/p>\n<p>Nexo analyst Ilya Kalchev commented to <a href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/ethereum-exit-queue-10b-record-selling-pressure\">Cointelegraph<\/a> that these figures reflect Ethereum&#8217;s transformation into a &#8220;profitable and institutionally recognized asset.&#8221; He noted that corporate and institutional entities already <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/institutional-investors-accumulate-over-10-of-ethereum-supply\">hold more than 10%<\/a> of the total ether supply, and inflows into <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-a-cryptocurrency-etf\">ETFs<\/a> in October exceeded $620 million.<\/p>\n<p>On October 7, Ethereum&#8217;s price <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ethereum-price-tests-4700-as-experts-predict-surge-to-10000\">reached $4700<\/a>.
