On December 3, the hard fork will be <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ethereum-developers-confirm-fusaka-deployment-timeline\">deployed<\/a> on the mainnet of the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization.<\/p>\n<p>The primary goal of Fusaka is to enhance Ethereum&#8217;s scalability and efficiency. A key improvement will be the implementation of the PeerDAS protocol (EIP-7594), which is expected to double the network&#8217;s throughput.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, Vitalik Buterin <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/vitalik-buterin-identifies-key-to-ethereums-scalability\">described<\/a> the technology as unique: it will allow nodes to verify block data availability without fully downloading it. Nodes will receive small fragments and use erasure coding to reconstruct the remaining information.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Increased Activity<\/h2>\n<p>The number of unique <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-are-stablecoins\">stablecoin<\/a> senders on the Ethereum network has reached an all-time high. According to The Block, the figure exceeded 1 million addresses per week.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"100%\" height=\"420\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.theblock.co\/data\/stablecoins\/usd-pegged\/ethereum-stablecoin-senders\/embed\" title=\"Ethereum Stablecoin Senders\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>From January 2020 to July 2024, there were on average about 400,000 stablecoin senders weekly. Since August, the figure has grown by more than 1.7% per week. In 2025, the average weekly value reached 720,000.<\/p>\n<p>The monthly number of active addresses has remained in the range of 16-18 million over the past year.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"100%\" height=\"420\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.theblock.co\/data\/on-chain-metrics\/ethereum\/number-of-active-addresses-on-the-ethereum-network-monthly\/embed\" title=\"Number of Active Addresses on the Ethereum Network (Monthly)\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The number of new addresses is steadily increasing.
