But my stance remains unchanged,&#8221; he wrote.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Carrone emphasized that the issue is not limited to Paradigm. He stated that any excessive involvement in open-source projects shifts priorities from long-term vision to corporate interests.<\/p>\n<p>One example is the announced Paradigm <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-are-stablecoins\">stablecoin<\/a> platform Tempo, valued at <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/tempo-valued-at-5-billion-following-500-million-funding-round\">$5 billion<\/a>. Stripe participated in its development and will directly control the network after its launch.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;It is important to recognize the fundamental difference in motivations: venture funds are inherently aimed at maximizing profits for their investors. Their success is measured by financial returns and increased influence. There is nothing wrong with that. [\u2026] However, Ethereum, as a decentralized ecosystem, must consciously limit its technological dependence on any fund pursuing a multifaceted strategic game,&#8221; he noted.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Community Reaction<\/h2>\n<p>Most users supported Carrone&#8217;s position. One user <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/dimahledba\/status\/1979985354225553489\">called<\/a> corporations a &#8220;mafia,&#8221; whose threat continues to grow.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;This is one of the most accurate analyses of Ethereum&#8217;s political side in recent times.
