Ledger <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businesswire.com\/news\/home\/20251023549325\/en\/The-Next-Era-of-Ownership-Begins-with-the-All-New-Ledger-Nano-and-Ledger-Wallet\">announced<\/a> the Nano Gen5, while Trezor unveiled the <a href=\"https:\/\/trezor.io\/trezor-safe-7\">Safe 7 model<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>At the Ledger Op3n event in Paris, the company also rebranded its Ledger Live app to Ledger Wallet and announced a business solution called Ledger Multisig.<\/p>\n<p>The new tool features a touch-sensitive E Ink screen, Bluetooth and NFC support. It comes with a Ledger Recovery Key card for access recovery. The Ledger Wallet app now allows direct connections to <span data-descr=\"decentralized applications\" class=\"old_tooltip\">dapps<\/span> like 1inch.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cThe Ledger Nano series is the most successful device for securing digital assets ever. Millions have been sold, and not one has been hacked,\u201d stated Ledger CEO Pascal Gauthier.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What About the Competitor?<\/h2>\n<p>Trezor introduced a device with an aluminum body, a color touch screen with Gorilla Glass 3 and haptic feedback, as well as support for wireless charging and Bluetooth.<\/p>\n<p>The main feature of the Trezor Safe 7 is the industry&#8217;s first fully auditable security chip, TROPIC01. It operates alongside a second chip in a dual-component architecture. The device is also prepared for future threats from quantum computers.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWhile convenience pushes users towards custodial services and <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-a-cryptocurrency-etf\"><em>ETFs<\/em><\/a><em>, we believe it is important to strengthen the idea of self-custody\u2014full control without compromise.
