A month and a half after adding<\/a> WLD<\/a> tokens to its balance sheet, the logistics firm said it plans to scan gamers\u2019 irises in partnership with World.<\/p>\n

The company works in coordination with the Sam Altman-backed ecosystem and presents itself as \u201cthe authentication and trust layer for the world\u201d once artificial general intelligence (AGI<\/span>) is reached.<\/p>\n

Wall Street analyst Dan Ives has been appointed chairman of the board. He brings roughly 25 years of technology-focused investing experience. The \u201cexecutive\u2019s\u201d task at Eightco is to maximise shareholder returns by promoting the idea that digital identity is undervalued in an AI future.<\/p>\n

An aggressive land grab includes growing the ecosystem and increasing the number of \u201cdigitised\u201d people via iris-scanning devices\u2014Orbs. Management reckons this should, in time, support WLD\u2019s price.<\/p>\n

On 2 October 2025, Eightco representatives announced<\/a> the launch of options trading on its shares under the ticker ORBS.<\/p>\n

The derivatives come with standard expiry dates and strike prices. The listing is meant to provide risk-management tools, boost liquidity and attract new investors.<\/p>\n
