Analysts at OnChainSchool have noted this development.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/telegram.org\/js\/telegram-widget.js?22\" data-telegram-post=\"cryptoquant_official\/3277\" data-width=\"100%\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>In 2023, the figure was 59,000 BTC, in 2024 \u2014 255,000; and for the incomplete 2025 \u2014 270,000.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cMore and more coins from the early era are coming into motion,\u201d the researchers emphasized.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>They identified possible reasons for this trend:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>old miners moving long-term reserves;<\/li>\n<li>funds being transferred to new cold wallets for security reasons;<\/li>\n<li>long-term holders selling some coins amid high prices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cIf the trend continues, the volume of moved coins in 2025 will exceed 300,000 BTC,\u201d analysts predicted.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hodlers Pressure the Price<\/h2>\n<p>An on-chain expert known as Darkfost <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Darkfost_Coc\/status\/1981448992019141116\">highlighted<\/a> the most concerning factor in the current market situation:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cAfter peaking at 14,000 BTC in realized profits, long-term holders still record about 12,000 BTC today \u2014 the figure remains high.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>However, the analyst noted that the figure is gradually declining as the cycle progresses.
