Investors fear the devaluation of traditional assets and worry about their financial and physical security,\u201d he explained.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Since the beginning of the year, the price of the precious metal has increased by more than 50%. On October 17, it <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/golds-market-capitalisation-tops-30trn-for-the-first-time\">reached<\/a> an all-time high of $4380 per ounce. Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/ru.tradingview.com\/chart\/?symbol=BINANCE%3ABTCUSDT\">TradingView<\/a>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Betting on Debasement<\/h2>\n<p>As reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2025-10-28\/blackrock-s-fink-sees-case-for-crypto-gold-as-assets-of-fear\">Bloomberg<\/a>, Fink&#8217;s comments coincided with the rapid rise of a strategy known as the <span data-descr=\"English: debasement trade\" class=\"old_tooltip\">\u201cdebasement trade\u201d<\/span>. In this strategy, investors are actively selling government bonds and popular fiat currencies, reallocating capital into gold, silver, and digital assets.<\/p>\n<p>The CEO of BlackRock identified the United States as a priority investment direction. According to him, most international players view the American market as a key venue for capital allocation over the next year and a half.<\/p>\n<p>However, the U.S. economy faces a significant challenge\u2014the need for constant dollar sales to foreign investors.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cWe are forced to place 30-35% of treasury bonds abroad\u2014this is our Achilles&#8217; heel,\u201d noted Fink.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Any change in this process will trigger a chain reaction, he added. Therefore, the head of BlackRock believes that the U.S. should focus on attracting private investments.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tokenization<\/h2>\n<p>Fink also commented on <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-are-tokenised-assets\">tokenization<\/a>, which, he said, has increasingly interested central banks recently.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cRegulators worldwide are questioning the role of digitalization in the financial system. They are concerned about the pace of transformation, the implications for the dollar, and the future of payment systems,\u201d he noted.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to the BlackRock chief, the community underestimates the speed of upcoming changes. Instead of discussing AI, the focus should be on how quickly all assets will transition to digital form, Fink emphasized.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cThis process is gaining momentum faster than many assume, but most countries are not ready for it,\u201d the expert stated.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Fink has long been an advocate of digital assets and tokenization, which he previously <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/blackrock-ceo-warns-bitcoin-poses-threat-to-dollars-dominance\">compared<\/a> to the transition from paper letters to email.
