Following the mainnet activation on December 17th, developers will launch an <span data-descr=\"Ethereum Improvement Proposal\" class=\"old_tooltip\">EIP<\/span> to increase the capacity of <span data-descr=\"large binary data objects\" class=\"old_tooltip\">BLOB<\/span> objects. The second stage will begin on January 7th, focusing on further expanding their capacity.<\/p>\n<p>Subsequently, experts will concentrate on the next <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-a-hard-fork\">hard fork<\/a> Glamsterdam, which is also part of The Surge phase in the <a href=\"https:\/\/ethereum.org\/ru\/roadmap\/\">Ethereum technical roadmap<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Will Fusaka Bring? <\/h2>\n<p>The upgrade aims to implement fundamental improvements to enhance the scalability, efficiency, and security of the second-largest cryptocurrency network by market capitalization.<\/p>\n<p>Fusaka will implement over 10 EIPs in total. The key one is EIP-7594, which will introduce the PeerDAS protocol to Ethereum. This technology will allow validators to verify small fragments instead of entire BLOB objects, increasing data availability for the entire ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>Project co-founder Vitalik Buterin <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/vitalik-buterin-identifies-key-to-ethereums-scalability\">described<\/a> this approach as unique and stated that PeerDAS is the \u201ckey to scaling\u201d the <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-a-layer%e2%80%912-solution-in-blockchain\">L2<\/a> ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>Fusaka also proposes more than doubling the gas limit at the first level, which should significantly increase the network&#8217;s throughput. They state that the upgrade will \u201cstrengthen the monetary properties of the cryptocurrency\u201d through several key mechanisms:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>reducing fees in L2 will revitalize the ecosystem, increasing the value of the base token;<\/li>\n<li>increased economic activity will boost demand for the coin as a collateral asset;<\/li>\n<li>enhanced security of the L1 network will make ETH a more attractive store of value.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cA new investment logic is forming: Ethereum is gradually transforming from an asset that generates income through fees into a full-fledged currency,\u201d the experts emphasized.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Some community members <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Erica__Hazel\/status\/1969646013024780505\">anticipate<\/a> that the upgrade will push the leading altcoin to $10,000 in the current cycle.
