The product <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bitwise-launches-sol-etf-on-nyse\">launched<\/a> a little earlier than <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/grayscale-launches-spot-solana-etf-with-staking\">the rival from Grayscale<\/a> (GSOL), whose <span data-descr=\"assets under management\" class=\"old_tooltip\">AUM<\/span> is currently just $1.4 million.<\/p>\n<p>According to Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas, BSOL\u2019s day-two trading volume reached $72 million. He called the result \u201ca huge number\u201d and \u201ca good sign.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24BSOL&#038;src=ctag&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$BSOL<\/a> did more volume on Day Two.. $72m is a huge number. Good sign. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/KpTbiQxZnv\">pic.twitter.com\/KpTbiQxZnv<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Eric Balchunas (@EricBalchunas) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/EricBalchunas\/status\/1983625274765013069?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 29, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>GSOL\u2019s figure was $4 million, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/EricBalchunas\/status\/1983630268104921395\">he added<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The two funds\u2019 combined assets amount to $432 million.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When could Solana hit a new ATH?<\/h2>\n<p>Ahead of the launch of spot Solana ETFs, many analysts expected SOL to rally. In August, Matt Hougan of Bitwise <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bitwise-predicts-new-all-time-high-for-solana\">predicted<\/a> the debut would propel the token to a new all-time high.<\/p>\n<p>MEXC Research\u2019s chief analyst Shawn Yang <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/opinion-alpenglow-upgrade-could-lift-solana-to-250-by-year-end\">noted<\/a> the cryptocurrency would reach $250 by year-end. Among additional drivers, he highlighted the <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/solana-developers-unveil-high-performance-alpenglow-protocol\">Alpenglow<\/a> upgrade.<\/p>\n<p>So far, Solana has shown little price reaction. Over the past week the coin has risen 4.4%, and 0.1% in the past day. Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/ru.tradingview.com\/chart\/?symbol=BINANCE%3ASOLUSDT\">TradingView<\/a>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Analysts at Hyblock told <a href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/solana-etfs-finally-launched-so-why-isn-t-sol-trading-far-above-dollar200\">Cointelegraph<\/a> they see a parallel with bitcoin\u2019s behaviour after spot BTC ETFs launched in January 2024:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cA similar pattern was observed then. Despite rising inflows, the price of the first cryptocurrency stayed in a sideways range and fell by about 5%. A breakout followed, however \u2014 inflows surged, which became the turning point for the price of digital gold.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The experts suggested Solana is going through the same phase, with the initial hype fading. They do not see the situation as alarming: \u201cthis is quite expected when such significant financial instruments launch,\u201d they added.<\/p>\n<p>Market participants remain optimistic about SOL\u2019s prospects. If $194 support holds, the path opens to resistance at $295 and, in time, to levels above $400,\u201d he forecast.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to bitcoin trader HODL GENTLEMAN, the nearest resistance <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/HODLGENTLEMAN\/status\/1983484005149516286\">sits<\/a> at the psychological $200 level. Issuers manage $26 billion in assets.<\/p>\n<p>At the time of writing, bitcoin and Ethereum trade around $110,000 and $3,900, respectively, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coingecko.com\/ru\">CoinGecko<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Martin Hiesboeck, head of blockchain research at Uphold, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/expert-declares-the-end-of-self-custody-era-for-bitcoin\">said<\/a> the era of self-custodying digital gold was ending.
