Google plans to incorporate<\/a> prediction market data from Kalshi and Polymarket<\/a> into its search results as part of an AI-driven update to Google Finance.<\/p>\n

The service will be available in the coming weeks. Users will be able to ask questions like “What will GDP growth be in 2025?” and see market odds reflecting the likelihood of various scenarios.<\/p>\n

This feature is part of an update to Google Finance, a free web service providing real-time financial market data.<\/p>\n

Additionally, a deep research mode powered by Gemini and new revenue viewing tools have been added.<\/p>\n

Deep Search offers detailed answers using artificial intelligence. To activate it, users must ask a question and select the corresponding function.<\/p>\n

Polymarket, founded in 2020 on the Polygon blockchain, is a prediction platform where users trade on the probabilities of various events.<\/p>\n

Kalshi, established in 2018, is regulated by the CFTC<\/span> in the United States. The platform offers contracts within the traditional financial system.<\/p>\n

Both platforms allow users to bet on a wide range of events, from sports to political outcomes.<\/p>\n

Other Players<\/h2>\n

Google is not the only company integrating prediction markets into its products.<\/p>\n

In March, Robinhood announced<\/a> the launch of a similar solution in its app. The company also engaged in talks<\/a> with the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority on launching such a product in England.<\/p>\n

In October, Web3<\/a> wallet MetaMask announced<\/a> plans to add Polymarket as part of its goal to “democratize finance.”<\/p>\n

That same month, World App\u2014a digital wallet and identity platform for Sam Altman’s World<\/a> project\u2014integrated<\/a> Polymarket.<\/p>\n

Gemini also intends<\/a> to enter the prediction market space.<\/p>\n

Back in November, Romania’s National Gambling Office blacklisted<\/a> Polymarket, deeming its activities unlicensed.<\/p>\n
