BUIDL holds funds in US dollars, short-term treasury bills, and <a href=\"https:\/\/ru.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%D0%A1%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BB%D0%BA%D0%B0_%D0%A0%D0%95%D0%9F%D0%9E\">REPO agreements<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Debuting on Ethereum, the fund also operates in first-layer networks such as <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/aptos-the-next-generation-of-blockchain-platforms\">Aptos<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-avalanche-avax\">Avalanche<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-solana-sol\">Solana<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-a-layer%e2%80%912-solution-in-blockchain\">L2 solutions<\/a> like <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-arbitrum\">Arbitrum<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-polygon-matic\">Polygon<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-optimism-op\">Optimism<\/a>. The integration with BNB Chain will allow BUIDL investors to utilize the asset in <span data-descr=\"decentralized finance\" class=\"old_tooltip\">DeFi<\/span> applications within the ecosystem and enhance its operational cross-chain compatibility.<\/p>\n<p>Simultaneously, BUIDL can serve as off-exchange collateral for trading on Binance. The ability to place tokens with a custodial partner outside the platform will provide institutional traders with greater flexibility in utilizing yield-bearing assets, according to the companies.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cBy using BUIDL as collateral in the leading digital market infrastructure, we are helping to integrate fundamental elements of <span data-descr=\"traditional finance\" class=\"old_tooltip\">TradFi<\/span> into the on-chain finance sphere,\u201d emphasized Robbie Mitchnick, Head of Digital Assets at BlackRock.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Analysts at Standard Chartered estimate that by 2028, the total market value of tokenized real-world assets, excluding <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-are-stablecoins\">stablecoins<\/a>, will grow to $2 trillion. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/app.rwa.xyz\/\">RWA.xyz<\/a>, the current figure is about $36 billion.
