This solution allows for the replacement of lengthy addresses with short aliases for transaction verification.<\/p>\n<p>Polygon Labs will provide the underlying blockchain infrastructure. Mercuryo will be the first issuer to connect users and conduct <span data-descr=\"know your customer\" class=\"old_tooltip\">KYC<\/span> checks. Mastercard will offer its own verification framework.<\/p>\n<p>How it works:<\/p>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The user completes KYC with Mercuryo and receives an alias.<\/li>\n<li>This alias is then linked to a self-custody wallet.<\/li>\n<li>Optionally, a <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-are-soulbound-tokens-and-how-do-they-differ-from-nfts\">soulbound token<\/a> can be issued on the <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-polygon-matic\">Polygon<\/a> network.
