The deployment on the main network was preceded by the <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/press-release\/bitwire\/privacy-8f751676668400969b68dfbe5aec72e0#\">launch<\/a> of a public testnet in May.<\/p>\n<p>Ignition Chain serves as the foundation for creating a &#8220;private world computer,&#8221; where DeFi applications can be developed with end-to-end confidentiality. The technology employs <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-a-zero-knowledge-proof\">zero-knowledge proofs<\/a> to address blockchain transparency issues while maintaining data verifiability.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, <a href=\"https:\/\/aztec.network\/\">registration<\/a> began for the token sale of the project&#8217;s native asset, AZTEC. The token is used for <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-staking-and-how-to-make-money-from-it\">staking<\/a>, governance, and block reward payouts.
