The drop <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/fear-and-panic-bitcoin-falls-below-85000-for-the-first-time-since-april\">to ~$82,000<\/a> brought buyers back, he said. That created room for upside, in step with the rally in U.S. equities.<\/p>\n<p>U.S. indices closed higher ahead of Thanksgiving. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/finance\/quote\/.DJI:INDEXDJX\">Dow Jones Industrial Average<\/a> added 0.67%, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/finance\/quote\/.IXIC:INDEXNASDAQ\">Nasdaq Composite<\/a> 0.82%, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/finance\/quote\/.INX:INDEXSP\">S&#038;P 500<\/a> rose 0.69%.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Whale bitcoin inflows<\/h2>\n<p>After the price decline, large traders stepped up transfers of assets to exchanges, CryptoQuant analysts told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theblock.co\/post\/380642\/cryptoquant-bitcoin-ether-altcoins-exchange-deposits-prices\">The Block<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On 21 November, 9,000 BTC flowed to exchanges, the firm said. Roughly 45% of that came from large deposits of at least 100 BTC. Analysts reckon whales are using the venue to trim positions and reduce risk.<\/p>\n<p>CryptoQuant\u2019s head of research, Julio Moreno, noted that sellers have dominated the spot market since early October, but in the past two days the balance has evened out.<\/p>\n<p>The trend has reached altcoins as well:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Ethereum:<\/strong> despite a lack of sharp growth in overall inflows, the average deposit size jumped to 41.7 ETH \u2014 a three-year high \u2014 as the asset fell to $2,900;<\/li>\n<li><strong>other coins:<\/strong> the number of transactions transferring altcoins to exchanges has held above 40,000 per day since July, peaking at 78,000 on 17 October.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>CryptoQuant concluded that investors continue to sell into the current correction, adding further pressure to prices.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The low-liquidity factor<\/h2>\n<p>Experts told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2025-11-26\/bitcoin-jumps-back-above-89-000-to-recoup-some-recent-losses\">Bloomberg<\/a> that the current volatility is partly the result of a \u201choliday market\u201d ahead of U.S. Thanksgiving.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;There is less liquidity right now, so it takes small volumes to move the price,&#8221; explained Kaiko analyst Adam McCarthy.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Wintermute strategist Jasper De Mere added that the \u201chigh-$80,000s\u201d served as a support and consolidation zone after several weeks of a downtrend.<\/p>\n<p>Futures and options data point to a return of bullish sentiment:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>futures: <\/strong>funding rates on perpetuals have turned positive again, signaling demand for longs;<\/li>\n<li><strong>options: <\/strong>according to Deribit, open interest has shifted from protective puts ($80,000\u2013$85,000) to call options with a $100,000 strike.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>GSR\u2019s head of OTC trading, Spencer Hallarn, says the market is \u201cready to rise\u201d after speculative longs were cleared out over the past two weeks.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Spot ETFs<\/h2>\n<p>On 26 November, net inflows into U.S. spot Ethereum-<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-a-cryptocurrency-etf\">ETF<\/a> products totaled $60.82 million. Aggregate inflows into spot bitcoin ETFs reached $21.12 million.
