In his view, such a measure &#8220;could lead to abuses.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Nawrocki also criticized the excessive complexity and volume of the document, which could result in &#8220;overregulation.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;Overregulation is an easy way to drive companies to the Czech Republic, Lithuania, or Malta instead of creating conditions for them to operate and pay taxes in Poland,&#8221; said the president.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Another point of contention was the high supervisory fees, which could stifle startup activity and create advantages for foreign corporations and banks.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;This is a perversion of logic, the killing of a competitive market, and a serious threat to innovation,&#8221; Nawrocki commented.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The Polish Sejm <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/poland-moves-to-tighten-cryptocurrency-regulations\">approved<\/a> the &#8220;Law on the Cryptoasset Market&#8221; at the end of September. Supporters of the digital asset industry criticized the document. Politician Tomasz Mentzen had already urged the president to veto the bill.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Opinions\u00a0<\/h2>\n<p>Polish officials were dissatisfied with Nawrocki&#8217;s decision.
