The ‘Liveliness’ technical metric of the leading cryptocurrency continues to rise, reflecting buyer activity and hinting at a rally’s return. This was highlighted by the analyst known as TXMC<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The index is a cumulative sum (running total) calculated based on all blockchain activity. The indicator increases when coins are used in transactions and decreases when they are held, taking into account the age of assets.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cLiveliness usually rises during a bullish trend as supply changes hands at higher prices, indicating an influx of new invested capital,\u201d the expert noted.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

According to TXMC, although the indicator is not a clear market signal, as it often changes much later than the price of the main asset, it points to positive trends.<\/p>\n

Analyst James Check noted<\/a> that the ‘Liveliness’ level has been in a limited range for eight years.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe 2017 bull cycle was special as it became the first epic parabola with broad [investor] participation, but also because many old coins were involved in transactions to receive dividends BCH<\/a>,\u201d he pointed out.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

According to Check, new metric highs show how extreme the return of old dormant coins was in 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n

At the time of writing, the leading cryptocurrency is trading at $89,400, with little change in price over the day.<\/p>\n

MN Trading founder Micha\u00ebl van de Poppe called<\/a> any price within the $86,000-92,000 range “noise.” The analyst expects a breakout of the upper value but warned of a risk of a pullback to $80,000.<\/p>\n

\u201cAgain, I don’t think Bitcoin is far from reaching a bottom, and this should lead to a strong rally by the end of the year with continuation into the next,\u201d van de Poppe added.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
