Since August 2020, Michael Saylor&#8217;s firm <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/michael-saylor-the-microstrategy-founders-biography-and-views\">Michael Saylor<\/a> has spent approximately $50.44 billion on cryptocurrency purchases.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, December 29, the price of digital gold briefly <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bitcoin-climbs-back-above-90000-amid-precious%e2%80%91metals-rally-and-a-weaker-dollar\">surpassed the $90,000 mark<\/a>. In total, the firm owns 4,110,525 ETH \u2014 3.41% of the total market supply of the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization. In the <span data-descr=\"companies with cryptocurrency treasuries\" class=\"old_tooltip\">DAT<\/span> segment, this is the second-largest after Strategy.<\/p>\n<p>The company also holds 192 BTC, has a $23 million stake in Eightco Holdings, and possesses $1 billion in free cash.<\/p>\n<p>BitMine is collaborating with three staking providers <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-staking-and-how-to-make-money-from-it\">staking<\/a>, preparing to launch its own commercial network MAVAN (Made in America VAlidator Network) in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>According to the firm, the total amount of staked cryptocurrency has already reached 408,627 ETH (~$1.2 billion). BitMine Chairman Tom Lee noted that the fully deposited Ethereum reserve for passive income will yield about $374 million annually at the current composite rate of 2.81%.<\/p>\n<p>The queue for staking ETH has, for the first time since July, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ethereum-staking-queue-doubles-withdrawal-requests\">doubled<\/a> the number of withdrawal requests. Some observers partially attributed this to BitMine&#8217;s actions.<\/p>\n<p>Back in October, Lee stated <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/tom-lee-declares-burst-bubble-in-crypto-treasury-sector\">about a burst bubble<\/a> in the DAT segment.
