This allows for more transactions to be processed simultaneously, enhancing blockchain efficiency without directly risking overload.<\/p>\n<p>The fork marks the second expansion of BLOB limits since the activation of the <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/fusaka-hard-fork-goes-live-on-ethereum-mainnet\">Fusaka<\/a> upgrade. The previous BPO was <a href=\"https:\/\/lab.ethpandaops.io\/ethereum\/forks\/bpo1\">implemented<\/a> on December 9, 2025. <\/p>\n<p>The Ethereum team&#8217;s initiative aims to expand the throughput of rollups.
