This indicates an unhealthy state of the industry,&#8221; he said.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Should the Clarity Act fail to pass in the first quarter of this year, Sacks should resign, noted the <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-cardano-ada\">Cardano<\/a> founder. If Democrats regain control of the House of Representatives in the November midterm elections, the &#8220;window of opportunity&#8221; for advancing the bill will be lost.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;I actually don&#8217;t believe Clarity will pass in the current quarter,&#8221; he added.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Hoskinson also criticized the Genius Act, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/donald-trump-enacts-stablecoin-legislation\">enacted in 2025<\/a>. In his view, the document protects the interests of large financial institutions rather than ordinary investors.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;[The Genius Act] centralizes the entire industry around BlackRock, Cantor, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and other giants,&#8221; he stated, emphasizing that the bill essentially &#8220;handed Wall Street the keys to the crypto kingdom.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The Cardano founder has repeatedly commented on Trump&#8217;s influence on the digital asset industry. Previously, he <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/charles-hoskinson-finds-trumps-impact-on-crypto-underwhelming\">stated<\/a> that the president&#8217;s administration has been &#8220;somewhat useless&#8221; for the market.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Hoskinson <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/justin-sun-faces-60-million-loss-in-trump-family-project\">believes<\/a> that the politician has jeopardized the integrity of the entire sector by <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/trumps-x-post-sends-fdv-of-the-official-trump-memecoin-to-19bn\">launching a controversial meme coin<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;When &#8216;Trump coin&#8217; appeared, everything shifted from &#8216;crypto outside politics&#8217; to the formula &#8216;crypto = Trump = bad = corruption&#8217;,&#8221; the developer noted.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SEC&#8217;s Opinion<\/h2>\n<p>SEC Chairman <span data-descr=\"U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission\" class=\"old_tooltip\">SEC<\/span> Paul Atkins is confident that Trump will sign the cryptocurrency market structure bill by the end of the year.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;The document fully aligns with the president&#8217;s goal to make America the global crypto capital. Clear laws and transparent rules create the certainty the market needs,&#8221; he said in an interview with <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxbusiness.com\/video\/6387612138112\"><em>Fox Business<\/em><\/a><em>.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Recently, the U.S. Senate Agriculture Committee, which oversees the <span data-descr=\"U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission\" class=\"old_tooltip\">CFTC<\/span>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.agriculture.senate.gov\/newsroom\/rep\/press\/release\/chairman-boozman-cites-progress-in-bipartisan-talks-on-crypto-market-structure-legislation-postpones-markup\">postponed<\/a> the final consideration of the bill to the end of January.
