Mobile apps have been harder. <\/p>\n<p>Now, the inventor of React (the technology that AI uses to build apps), has a new announcement. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/aDBXydRAjQ\">pic.twitter.com\/aDBXydRAjQ<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Replit \u2815 (@Replit) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Replit\/status\/2011891602365825489?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 15, 2026<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The new tool allows developers and entrepreneurs to &#8220;turn an idea into a working app in minutes and publish it to the App Store in a few days.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The process is as follows:<\/p>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The user describes the product in a text chat.<\/li>\n<li>Replit generates the code in real-time.<\/li>\n<li>The finished version is tested within the platform.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>To upload to the app store, an Apple Developer account is required.<\/p>\n<p>Before appearing in the app store, the software undergoes mandatory review. Apple is known for its strict requirements, but the company claims to process the majority of submissions within a day.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;Just tell the Replit Agent what you want to create, iterate in chat, preview instantly on your phone, and publish when ready,&#8221; the <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.replit.com\/mobile-apps\">announcement<\/a> states.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The Replit platform <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2026\/01\/15\/ai-startup-replit-launches-feature-to-vibe-code-mobile-apps.html\">integrates<\/a> Stripe support for project monetization. The startup&#8217;s valuation in the upcoming round could reach $9 billion (it was $3 billion in September).<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What About Security?<\/h2>\n<p>Vibe coding is gaining popularity as a method for rapid development: it allows for app creation without deep technical knowledge. For the sake of the experiment, each was tasked with creating a series of identical applications. The same prompts and technology stack were used.<\/p>\n<p>Upon analyzing the results, analysts identified common behavior patterns and recurring failure patterns. On the positive side, agents effectively avoid certain classes of errors.<\/p>\n<p>None of the generated solutions contained SQL injections or XSS vulnerabilities, which have been top-ranked in the <span data-descr=\"Open Web Application Security Project\" class=\"old_tooltip\">OWASP<\/span> list for years.<\/p>\n<p>However, digital assistants showed weak results when dealing with complex architecture. They also allowed vulnerabilities in business logic.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;Human developers intuitively understand how workflows should function.
