According to him, the government has completely halted the sale of confiscated Bitcoins.<\/p>\n<p>However, Bessent declined to comment on the <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/trump-to-review-case-of-convicted-samourai-wallet-co-founder\">seized $6 million<\/a> in the first cryptocurrency from Samourai Wallet developers.<\/p>\n<p>White House AI and cryptocurrency chief David Sacks also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/video\/2026\/01\/21\/watch-cnbcs-full-interview-with-white-house-ai-crypto-czar-david-sacks.html\">stated<\/a> that American banks will &#8220;fully&#8221; participate in the cryptocurrency industry following the passage of the <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/fdic-unveils-initial-stablecoin-regulations-under-genius-act\">Genius Act<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;I advocate for reaching a resolution and facilitating a compromise so that we can present the market structure bill to the president,&#8221; he noted.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Following the somewhat mixed signals from American politicians, Bitcoin briefly returned to $90,000.
