The solution minimizes trust\u2014only one honest party is needed to detect and prevent illegal activities, the developers noted.<\/p>\n<p>The mainnet functions as a <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-are-rollups-and-how-do-they-scale-ethereum\">rollup<\/a>, providing off-chain transaction execution, and relies on the Bitcoin network as a settlement layer.<\/p>\n<p>Citrea initially supports trading and liquidity provision services through the <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-a-decentralised-exchange-dex\">decentralized exchanges<\/a> Satsuma, JuiceSwap, and Fibrous. Users also have access to a lending service on the Morpho platform. <\/p>\n<p>The team announced the upcoming addition of private payment and trading options on Crest, as well as access to market forecasts via Signals. <\/p>\n<p>The project introduced the <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-are-stablecoins\">stablecoin<\/a> ctUSD for &#8220;Bitcoin-oriented markets.&#8221; The asset is issued by MoonPay and operates on the M0 infrastructure.
