According to him, Chinese authorities are still finalizing the licensing conditions.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cIt is in the final stages. I hope the Chinese government will allow Nvidia to sell the chips. I am looking forward to a favorable decision,\u201d he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/asia-pacific\/nvidia-ceo-says-h200-licence-china-is-being-finalised-2026-01-29\/\">said<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to Reuters, China&#8217;s ministries of industry and trade have approved the import under certain conditions that are still being developed. These are determined by the National Development and Reform Commission.<\/p>\n<p>In January, the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/us-permits-export-of-nvidia-h200-ai-chips-to-china\">officially authorized<\/a> the sale of Nvidia&#8217;s second most powerful AI chips, the H200, to China.
