Customers can also efficiently cross-margin crypto with all asset classes supported by our prime\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Ripple (@Ripple) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Ripple\/status\/2019048504576864658?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 4, 2026<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The partnership grants clients access to onchain derivatives on the <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-a-decentralised-exchange-dex\">DEX<\/a> and allows them to manage perpetual futures positions alongside exposures in other markets.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the brokerage service remains the sole counterparty for the user, even when trading on a decentralized exchange.<\/p>\n<p>The integration marks Ripple Prime&#8217;s debut in the decentralized finance sector, the company noted. According to the firm&#8217;s statement, this move reflects a growing trend: institutional players are increasingly entering such markets, preferring to access onchain platforms through familiar models.<\/p>\n<p>Ripple Prime plans to expand support for centralized and decentralized liquidity sources as institutional client interest grows.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cAt Ripple Prime, we aim to lead at the intersection of decentralized finance and traditional prime brokerage services. Our solution directly supports trading, yield opportunities, and engagement with a broader range of digital assets,\u201d stated Ripple Prime CEO Michael Higgins.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The platform emerged following Ripple&#8217;s acquisition of <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ripple-completes-1-25-billion-acquisition-of-prime-broker-hidden-road\">prime broker Hidden Road for $1.25 billion<\/a> in October 2025.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/ripple.com\/solutions\/prime-brokerage\/\">company&#8217;s website<\/a>, the structure currently serves over 300 institutional clients and generates more than $3 trillion annually.<\/p>\n<p>Since the announcement of the deal, Ripple Prime&#8217;s business has tripled.
