This <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-a-layer%e2%80%912-solution-in-blockchain\">L2<\/a> solution is based on <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-arbitrum\">Arbitrum<\/a>, focusing on <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-are-rwas-real-world-assets\">RWA<\/a> and DeFi.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The Robinhood Chain public testnet is live \ud83d\udee0\ufe0f<\/p>\n<p>Developers can now build on a financial-grade Ethereum Layer 2 built on <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/arbitrum?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@arbitrum<\/a>\u2014 designed to support tokenized real-world and digital assets.<\/p>\n<p>Start building with the core foundation of Robinhood Chain: <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/yHCQRh5x3j\">https:\/\/t.co\/yHCQRh5x3j<\/a>\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Robinhood (@RobinhoodApp) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RobinhoodApp\/status\/2021399303722258575?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 11, 2026<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Johan Kerbrat, General Manager of Robinhood Crypto, described the blockchain as a foundation for integrating traditional financial services into the on-chain space.<\/p>\n<p>Developers now have access to test assets, including tokenized stocks, as well as tools for interacting with Robinhood Wallet.<\/p>\n<p>Steven Goldfeder, CEO of Offchain Labs (developer of Arbitrum), noted that the launch will help the industry move to the next stage\u2014launching financial services without intermediaries.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Financial Performance and Market Reaction<\/h2>\n<p>On February 10, Robinhood <a href=\"https:\/\/investors.robinhood.com\/static-files\/b2f8b742-6b7f-430d-9a42-3b06d5040bda\">released<\/a> its fourth-quarter report. In post-market trading, HOOD shares fell by about 8%, dropping from $85.6 to $79.04.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/img-4c50fde8195d3f20-6019733128718499.webp\" alt=\"Screenshot 2026-02-11 115926\" class=\"wp-image-275004\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/finance\/quote\/HOOD:NASDAQ\">Google Finance<\/a>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The company&#8217;s revenue from cryptocurrency operations decreased by 38% year-on-year, amounting to $221 million. In comparison, the figure reached $268 million in the third quarter.<\/p>\n<p>Trading volumes on the Robinhood app fell by 52%. A significant portion of the total turnover of $82 billion was provided by the Bitstamp exchange, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/robinhood-acquires-bitstamp-for-200-million\">acquired<\/a> by the company in June 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the decline in the crypto segment, the platform&#8217;s total net revenue grew by 27% to a record $1.28 billion. Growth was driven by other areas:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>options \u2014 $314 million (+41%);<\/li>\n<li>stocks \u2014 $94 million (+54%);<\/li>\n<li>net interest income \u2014 $411 million (+39%).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The number of Robinhood Gold subscribers increased by 58%, reaching 4.2 million. Total assets on the platform rose by 68% to $324 billion.<\/p>\n<p>The broker&#8217;s CEO, Vlad Tenev, confirmed <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/robinhood-ceo-plans-to-launch-thousands-of-tokenized-stocks\">plans<\/a> to launch tokenized stocks. The company plans to implement 24\/7 trading and instant settlements on the blockchain.<\/p>\n<p>Back in November 2025, Robinhood <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/robinhood-to-launch-prediction-markets-exchange\">announced<\/a> the creation of its own derivatives exchange and clearinghouse.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The online broker Robinhood has launched a public testnet for its own network, Robinhood Chain.
