Kulechov described these assets as scarce and predicted further growth in the segment.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/img-905533e89bb832e2-6455828664054218.webp\" alt=\"image\" class=\"wp-image-275230\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Source: <a href=\"http:\/\/rwa.xyz\">rwa.xyz<\/a>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>However, the entrepreneur sees the main potential in digitizing so-called &#8220;abundant assets.&#8221; In addition to solar energy, these include:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>energy storage systems (batteries);<\/li>\n<li>robotics;<\/li>\n<li>vertical farms and synthesized food products;<\/li>\n<li>semiconductors;<\/li>\n<li>3D printing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>According to Kulechov, these areas will offer higher returns compared to scarce resources, which are on a &#8220;low-margin and declining profitability path.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;Capital is eager for new types of collateral, and the world is ready for the transformation that on-chain lending can capture and accelerate,&#8221; he noted.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He forecasts that the RWA market will reach $50 trillion by 2050, with solar energy alone accounting for $15 trillion to $30 trillion.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How will it work?<\/h2>\n<p>Kulechov provided an example of a tokenization scheme for a new class of assets:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>an investor funding solar energy startups tokenizes a $100 million project;<\/li>\n<li>then uses this asset as collateral to borrow $70 million in DeFi protocols for reinvestment in new projects;<\/li>\n<li>users gain access to an instrument with &#8220;scalable returns and low risks,&#8221; backed by real assets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;An investor can buy tokenized solar energy, hold it for three years, sell it for a profit, and immediately reinvest in a new development,&#8221; he explained.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The key advantage of this model is capital efficiency.
