It appears that they are holding the majority of the Bitcoin they produce, with their most recent outflows 4 months ago.<\/p>\n<p>Excluding energy costs, the UAE is currently in profit\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/HcB2CYBQgy\">pic.twitter.com\/HcB2CYBQgy<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Arkham (@arkham) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/arkham\/status\/2024367067194151095?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 19, 2026<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>According to researchers&#8217; calculations, excluding energy costs, the UAE&#8217;s unrealised profit from mining the leading cryptocurrency is about $350 million.<\/p>\n<p>Back in August 2025, Arkham <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/uae-amasses-6300-btc-worth-700-million-through-mining\">reported<\/a> that the country held 6,300 BTC, which were then valued at $700 million.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the coins are held in wallets affiliated with Citadel Mining, with the last outflow recorded four months ago.<\/p>\n<p>The firm is a subsidiary of the UAE Royal Group, owned by members of the Abu Dhabi royal family.
