The majority of the stolen funds were due to two major attacks on February 21:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>YieldBlox: attackers targeted a lending pool managed by a DAO, extracting $10 million;<\/li>\n<li>IoTeX: hackers compromised private keys of a decentralized protocol, stealing $8.9 million in assets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The top five also included attacks on CrossCurve ($4.9 million), Foom Cash ($2.2 million), and Moonwell ($1.8 million). The total loss for February was 69.2% lower than January&#8217;s figure of $86 million.<\/p>\n<p>PeckShield <a href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/crypto-hack-losses-february-2026-peckshield-lowest-since-march-2025\">attributed<\/a> the lull to market volatility. Token price manipulation ranked second ($11.4 million), followed by phishing ($8.5 million).
