We&#8217;re actively investigating with top security\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Solv Protocol (@SolvProtocol) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SolvProtocol\/status\/2029612210490933697?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 5, 2026<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The incident affected fewer than ten users, with total damages estimated at $2.7 million. The developers have promised full compensation for the losses.<\/p>\n<p>According to Decurity, the attacker exploited a double-minting vulnerability in the BitcoinReserveOffering (BRO) contract 22 times. This allowed the conversion of 135 BRO into 567 million BRO, which the hacker then exchanged for approximately 38 SolvBTC.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\ud83d\udea8 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SolvProtocol?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@SolvProtocol<\/a> has been exploited for $2.7M<\/p>\n<p>The BitcoinReserveOffering (BRO-SOLV-20MAY2026) contract&#8217;s mint() function has a double-minting flaw. When a user mints by transferring a full ERC-3525 NFT, doSafeTransferIn triggers the onERC721Received callback which mints BRO\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/JcZIGtJUaH\">pic.twitter.com\/JcZIGtJUaH<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Defimon Alerts (@DefimonAlerts) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DefimonAlerts\/status\/2029593179863883873?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 5, 2026<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Solv assured that other vaults and client assets remain secure. The team is investigating the incident with Hypernative Labs, SlowMist, and CertiK, and has taken measures to prevent a recurrence.<\/p>\n<p>The platform offered the hacker 10% of the amount as a reward for returning the stolen assets.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Solv Metrics and Native Token Reaction<\/h2>\n<p>The platform has 8,847 BTC worth $623 million locked.
