Reasons for shutdowns included:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a review of hosting agreements;<\/li>\n<li>equipment upgrades;<\/li>\n<li>the sale of some rigs;<\/li>\n<li>shifting operations to regions with lower electricity costs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Cango mined 454.83 BTC in the month. As of 28 February, holdings stood at 3,313.4 BTC.<\/p>\n<p>After <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-are-hashrate-and-mining-difficulty-in-cryptocurrencies\">mining difficulty<\/a> rose on 19 February by <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/mining-difficulty-rebounds-by-15-as-hash-price-falls-below-30\">nearly 15%<\/a>, the <span data-descr=\"miners' revenue per unit of computing power\" class=\"old_tooltip\">hashprice<\/span> fell from the $33-35 per PH\/s per day range to below $30. From a peak of 1.15 ZH\/s, computing power fell to 1.02 ZH\/s. The current forecast for the metric is an increase of less than 1%.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past five months, public mining companies have <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/theenergymag-forecasts-heavier-selling-by-bitcoin-miners\">sold more than 15,000 BTC<\/a>, according to TheEnergyMag.
