The next day the asset <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bitcoin-touches-75000-for-the-first-time-since-early-february\">continued<\/a> its rally, rising towards $76,000 for the first time since early February.<\/p>\n<p>By Wednesday, 18 March, the uptrend <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bitcoin-slips-below-72000-as-oil-jumps\">stalled<\/a> amid an escalation in the Middle East and rising oil prices.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Investors\u2019 caution was compounded by a meeting of the <span data-descr=\"U.S. Federal Reserve System\" class=\"old_tooltip\">Fed<\/span>, at which the regulator <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/federal-reserve-maintains-key-interest-rate\">kept<\/a> the policy rate at 3.5\u20133.75%. Although widely expected, such decisions typically prompt risk-asset restraint.<\/p>\n<p>By late Thursday bitcoin had surrendered its recent gains, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bitcoin-falls-below-70000\">falling<\/a> to $69,000. The initiative will cover products from the Russell 1000 index and a number of ETFs.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Tokenised assets will retain all the attributes of their traditional counterparts, including shareholder rights, tickers and trading priorities. Clearing and settlement will still run through the traditional market infrastructure.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Mechanically, brokers will be able to add special flags to <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-are-rwas-real-world-assets\">RWA<\/a> orders when entering them. After execution, Nasdaq will send an instruction to the Depository Trust Company. If the latter cannot process the request due to network or other constraints, settlement will proceed in the standard format without tokens.<\/p>\n<p>The SEC stressed that placing a security on a blockchain does not change its legal status \u2014 the asset remains a share, not a technology instrument.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThis is not just a rule change. This is Wall Street\u2019s official embrace of tokenisation,\u201d said an analyst under the nickname Crypto Patel.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Also this week, Commission chair Paul Atkins <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/sec-excludes-stablecoins-from-securities-and-announces-safe-harbor\">unveiled<\/a> a new token taxonomy and an updated reading of investment contracts.<\/p>\n<p>Under the new approach, the regulator identifies four categories of assets that are not deemed securities:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>digital goods;<\/li>\n<li>digital collectibles;<\/li>\n<li>digital instruments;<\/li>\n<li>payment stablecoins (in accordance with the <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/donald-trump-enacts-stablecoin-legislation\">GENIUS Act<\/a>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>According to Atkins, only one class of assets falls under securities law \u2014 \u201cdigital securities\u201d. These refer solely to tokenised versions of traditional financial instruments.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the SEC head announced work on <span data-descr=\"regulation of crypto assets\" class=\"old_tooltip\">Regulation Crypto Assets<\/span>, a rulebook intended to provide the industry with transparent, legal ways to raise capital. It foresees exemptions for startups and fundraising, as well as a \u201csafe harbour\u201d for investment contracts.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Delete OpenClaw<\/h2>\n<p>Amid a sharp reversal in sentiment toward OpenClaw, a tool for building AI agents, Chinese social networks <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/paid-service-for-removing-openclaw-gains-popularity-in-china\">saw the emergence<\/a> of paid services offering to remove the app \u2014 which many users had earlier paid to install.<\/p>\n<p>For example, a Shanghai-based Alibaba user nicknamed mojito lime water offered to uninstall the utility for 299 yuan ($43.55), and had already completed several orders.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The mass exodus from OpenClaw began after a warning from China\u2019s National Computer Emergency Response Center, which said the programme\u2019s default security settings were exceedingly weak.<\/p>\n<p>The China Academy of Information and Communications Technology announced an initiative to develop standards for OpenClaw-based agents to address opaque decision-making mechanisms.<\/p>\n<p>Several Chinese universities also issued warnings about the programme. They recommend using only the latest official version, restricting the app\u2019s internet access and closely controlling permissions.<\/p>\n<p>Outside China, there <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/openclaw-hype-triggers-phishing-attacks-on-crypto-wallets\">were reports<\/a> of OpenClaw being used for phishing campaigns and to steal cryptocurrencies from developers.<\/p>\n<p>According to OX Security, scammers created fake GitHub accounts, opened discussions in controlled repositories and tagged dozens of other users. Messages claimed they had been selected to receive $5,000 in CLAW tokens.<\/p>\n<p>Victims were directed to a malicious website where they were prompted to connect a wallet to \u201cclaim a reward\u201d. The page almost perfectly mirrored OpenClaw\u2019s official website.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/img-98cb400438fb7225-9407861043736319.webp\" alt=\"image\" class=\"wp-image-277209\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Example of a fraudulent message. Source: OX Security.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">From tokens to digital equities<\/h2>\n<p>Equities and commodities continue to gain traction on-chain. Thanks to tokenised real-world markets, open interest (OI) on <span data-descr=\"user-created perpetual futures markets\" class=\"old_tooltip\">HIP-3<\/span> at the Hyperliquid exchange <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/stocks-and-commodities-propel-hyperliquids-open-interest-to-historic-high\">hit<\/a> a record $1.43bn.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/img-d2241582c5460aca-9407860857191570.webp\" alt=\"image\" class=\"wp-image-277204\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Source: The Block Data.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In the six months since the new format launched, the metric has risen more than 100-fold.<\/p>\n<p>Trade.xyz, a platform from Hyperunit, leads the segment. It accounts for nearly 90% of total OI, with daily volumes reaching $22bn.<\/p>\n<p>Only seven of the venue\u2019s top-30 instruments are crypto pairs. The rest are traditional assets, including popular oil grades and trading indices.<\/p>\n<p>On 18 March, S&amp;P Dow Jones Indices licensed Trade.xyz to launch the first official perpetual contracts on the S&amp;P 500 index. The feature is available to verified users.<\/p>\n<p>At the first stage, card payments support purchases of the rouble stablecoin A7A5. Once credited, the token can be exchanged for USDT and other assets.<\/p>\n<p>The top-up fee is 0.5%. Funds are credited to the balance immediately after payment confirmation.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cAll payments go through verified payment services.
