On Monday, March 23, the asset&#8217;s value <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bitcoin-tops-70000-as-us-pauses-iran-strikes\">partially recovered<\/a> following the U.S. president&#8217;s announcement of a halt to airstrikes \u2014 at the time of writing, the price reached approximately $71,140.<\/p>\n<p>In recent months, Strategy has repeatedly acquired digital gold before downturns. Such purchases were made by the firm, for instance, in <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/strategy-acquires-bitcoin-worth-962-million-before-price-drop\">December<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/strategy-accumulates-712647-btc-slows-bitcoin-purchases\">January<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/strategy-acquires-592-btc-for-39-million-ahead-of-price-dip\">February<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>By the end of 2025, the company had accumulated 675,497 bitcoins, which cost an average of $74,997 each.<\/p>\n<p>To form the current crypto reserve of 762,099 BTC, Strategy spent a total of $57.69 billion \u2014 averaging $75,694 per coin.<\/p>\n<p>The firm&#8217;s &#8220;paper&#8221; loss on digital gold is approximately $3.4 billion. This sharply contrasts with gold (a traditional store of value), which has fallen by more than 15%. Cryptocurrency is proving to be a good store of value in \u2018wartime\u2019,\u201d stated BitMine Chairman Tom Lee.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He noted that the firm has increased its pace of ether purchases, which previously averaged 45,000-50,000 ETH per week.<\/p>\n<p>The company has placed 3.14 million ETH in <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-staking-and-how-to-make-money-from-it\">staking<\/a>. The projected annual income from the coins reaches $184 million. After locking all accumulated cryptocurrency, this figure could theoretically rise to $272 million.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Having accumulated approximately 3.86% of the Ethereum market supply over eight months, BitMine confidently holds the second-largest corporate reserve value after Strategy.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to 4.66 million ETH, the company owns:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>196 BTC;<\/li>\n<li>stakes in Beast Industries ($200 million) and Eightco Holdings ($95 million);<\/li>\n<li>cash reserves of $1.1 billion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The total assets of BitMine exceed $11 billion with a capitalization of approximately $9.4 billion.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">H100 to Triple Bitcoin Reserve Size<\/h2>\n<p>The Swedish company H100 Group, specializing in providing institutional investors access to the first cryptocurrency, has <a href=\"https:\/\/storage.mfn.se\/ce1c0a98-afb5-47e6-b436-0c8118d07365\/h100-signs-loi-for-strategic-acquisition-to-increase-its-bitcoin-holdings-to-3-500-bitcoin.pdf\">signed<\/a> a preliminary agreement to acquire Norwegian firms Moonshot AS and Never Say Die AS.<\/p>\n<p>The deal is expected to be calculated based on the ratio of corporate bitcoin reserves of the enterprises.
