Based on this, AI can determine how the enemy acted in similar past situations and suggest countermeasures,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Freuding noted that tasks currently requiring hundreds of personnel and several days of work can be significantly accelerated with artificial intelligence. According to him, traditional methods alone are insufficient to \u201cbreak the enemy&#8217;s decision-making cycle.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The military official proposed using data from Ukraine and German exercises to calibrate analytical tools. He emphasized that AI would be used solely as an auxiliary tool to support human decision-making.<\/p>\n<p>A specific service has yet to be chosen, but integrating the technology is a priority.<\/p>\n<p>Freuding also highlighted the importance of aligning Germany&#8217;s AI systems with evolving NATO standards.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cI believe we need to launch a working solution as quickly as possible. Of course, data sovereignty and security issues must be considered,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">US Already Implementing<\/h2>\n<p>The Pentagon also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2026-03-21\/palantir-ai-system-wins-key-pentagon-status-reuters-reports?srnd=phx-ai&#038;embedded-checkout=true\">intends<\/a> to accelerate decision-making with artificial intelligence, making it a central element of its strategy to integrate sensors and strike systems in combat operations.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Defense Secretary Steve Feinberg stated that granting Palantir Technologies&#8217; Maven Smart System the status of a \u201cprogram of record\u201d will ensure \u201cstable funding and resources\u201d necessary for development, integration, and combat operations.<\/p>\n<p>The US armed forces already use the Maven digital mission management platform across all commands.
