The company noted that other stablecoin issuers &#8220;settle for minimal transparency.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>FT journalists believe that a comprehensive financial review is intended to facilitate Tether&#8217;s planned business expansion in the US and attract funds. In February, the company attempted to raise $15-20 billion at a valuation of $500 billion but faced investor concerns about the risks, given past regulatory issues.<\/p>\n<p>Tether assured that in recent years the firm has taken several steps to enhance trust:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>strengthened reserves, ensuring liquidity and conservative asset management;<\/li>\n<li>provided regular updates guaranteeing transparency of reserve composition data;<\/li>\n<li>actively collaborated with law enforcement worldwide, helping to identify illegal activities, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/tether-freezes-4-2-billion-in-illicit-funds-to-date\">freeze<\/a> illicit funds, and protect users;<\/li>\n<li>implemented robust compliance and risk management systems, ensuring USDT&#8217;s status as a safe and reliable digital dollar.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tether&#8217;s flagship token dominates the stablecoin segment with a total volume of ~$310 billion.
