The Ripple chief noted that the total volume of &#8216;stablecoin&#8217; transactions <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/usdc-surpasses-usdt-in-defi-usage-activity\">exceeded $33 trillion<\/a> over the past year.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Bloomberg Intelligence <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2026-01-08\/stablecoin-transactions-rose-to-record-33-trillion-led-by-usdc\">forecasts<\/a> further growth \u2014 up to $56.6 trillion by 2030 if market expansion continues.<\/p>\n<p>The bulk of turnover still comes from major assets like <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-the-usdc-stablecoin\">USDC<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-tether-usdt\">USDT<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ripple&#8217;s Infrastructure and Strategy<\/h2>\n<p>The company is also actively developing its own stablecoin direction.
