Approximately $40 million from seized assets is currently available. <\/p>\n<p>Between 2014 and 2019, the scheme&#8217;s organizers collected over $4 billion from investors worldwide. The number of victims is estimated at 3.5 million users. <\/p>\n<p>Victims of OneCoin can submit claims through the Kroll program until June 30. Forms are available on the website, according to the regulator.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Legal Proceedings in the OneCoin Case<\/h2>\n<p>OneCoin co-founder <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/the-vanished-cryptoqueen\">Ruja Ignatova<\/a> remains at large. The <span data-descr=\"Federal Bureau of Investigation\" class=\"old_tooltip\">FBI<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/fbi-puts-onecoin-founder-ruja-ignatova-on-the-ten-most-wanted-fugitives-list\">added<\/a> her to its list of the ten most wanted fugitives in June 2022 and offers $250,000 for information leading to her arrest. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/img-1c53a25fb2765ba1-1758756056310568.webp\" alt=\"FBI Wanted: Ruja Ignatova\" class=\"wp-image-278404\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fbi.gov\/wanted\/topten\/ruja-ignatova\/@@download.pdf\">FBI<\/a>. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The US State Department has <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/us-increases-reward-for-information-on-onecoin-founder-to-5-million\">announced<\/a> a separate reward of up to $5 million for capturing Ignatova. While she remains on the run, her accomplices have faced justice in several countries: <\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In October 2022, a German court <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/germany-files-charges-against-partners-of-the-onecoin-crypto-pyramid\">convicted<\/a> Ignatova&#8217;s lawyer, who transferred $23.6 million to the Cayman Islands for purchasing apartments in London. Alongside him, a couple who processed $377 million in OneCoin client payments over a year were charged with money laundering, fraud, and banking crimes;<\/li>\n<li>OneCoin co-founder Karl Sebastian Greenwood <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/onecoin-co-founder-pleads-guilty-to-fraud-and-money-laundering\">pleaded<\/a> guilty to fraud and money laundering in the US in December 2022. He was <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/onecoin-co-founder-sentenced-to-20-years-in-prison\">sentenced<\/a> to 20 years in prison and fined $300 million;<\/li>\n<li>Head of the legal department Irina Dilkinska was sentenced to four years in prison and fined $111.44 million. She <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ex-head-of-onecoin-compliance-pleads-guilty\">admitted<\/a> to conspiracy to commit fraud and money laundering in November 2023;<\/li>\n<li>Attorney Mark Scott, who laundered $400 million for the crypto pyramid, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/onecoin-lawyer-sentenced-to-10-years-in-prison\">received<\/a> a 10-year prison sentence;<\/li>\n<li>William Morrow was charged with concealing OneCoin funds through banks: $35 million in Hong Kong and $6 million in the US. He was arrested on April 23, 2024.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Meanwhile, the bankrupt crypto exchange Mt.
