The companies aim to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence in the Thai market, as stated in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businesswire.com\/news\/home\/20260414119654\/en\/Gulf-Edge-and-Kore.ai-Partner-to-Accelerate-AI-First-Transformation\">press release<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As part of the collaboration, Gulf Edge will utilize the Kore.ai platform to develop neural network-based solutions tailored to the needs of key sectors in the country, including:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>telecommunications;<\/li>\n<li>banking;<\/li>\n<li>insurance;<\/li>\n<li>healthcare;<\/li>\n<li>the public sector.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The primary goals of the joint developments are to enhance customer experience, optimize operations, and scale the new technology across enterprises.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cWe are laying the foundation for an AI-driven future in Southeast Asia, starting with Thailand. The partnership with Kore.ai combines our infrastructure and expertise with an enterprise platform to accelerate the real-world adoption of artificial intelligence,\u201d said Gulf Development&#8217;s head, Sarath Ratanavadi.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to company representatives, Thailand is becoming one of the fastest-growing AI markets in the region. Projections suggest that by 2030, the sector will reach $3.5 billion, with an annual growth rate of 28%.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Key drivers include active corporate adoption and significant investments in AI infrastructure from both the government and the private sector.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>At the end of March, Microsoft <a href=\"https:\/\/news.microsoft.com\/source\/asia\/2026\/03\/31\/microsoft-deepens-thailand-partnership-with-more-than-us1-billion-investment-spanning-technology-trust-and-talent\/\">announced<\/a> a $1 billion investment in developing cloud infrastructure and AI-based solutions in Thailand.
