This means that during a USDC transaction:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>tokens are burned in the original network;<\/li>\n<li>they are reissued in the target blockchain on a 1:1 basis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This approach removes the need for <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-a-wrapped-token\">wrapped<\/a> versions of assets and reduces additional risks historically associated with bridges.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Focus on Cross-Chain Accessibility<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Circle stated that the USDC Bridge is aimed at simplifying <a href=\"https:\/\/flogstat.site\/cryptorium\/chto-takoe-krosschejn-mosty\">cross-chain transactions<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The service offers:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>automatic fee payment;<\/li>\n<li>display of transaction costs before confirmation;<\/li>\n<li>real-time transfer status tracking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is intended to eliminate the complexities of interacting with interfaces and route building, which hinder the widespread use of bridges.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Support for Multiple Networks<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>At launch, the USDC Bridge supports transfers between at least 17 <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-the-ethereum-virtual-machine-evm\">EVM<\/a>-compatible networks, including <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-ethereum-eth\">Ethereum<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-arbitrum\">Arbitrum<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-optimism-op\">Optimism<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-polygon-matic\">Polygon<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-base-coinbases-l2\">Base<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-avalanche-avax\">Avalanche<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/how-monad-works-an-ethereum-and-solana-rival-with-10000-tps\">Monad<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>CCTP interacts with a wide range of blockchains, including <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-solana-sol\">Solana<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/sui-an-ambitious-blockchain-and-cryptocurrency-from-meta-alumni\">Sui<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/aptos-the-next-generation-of-blockchain-platforms\">Aptos<\/a>, which initially use different virtual machine systems.<\/p>\n<p>In March, analysts at Standard Chartered <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/standard-chartered-reports-doubling-of-stablecoin-turnover-in-two-years\">noted<\/a> a doubling in the turnover of stablecoins over two years.
