The company&#8217;s total expenditure on cryptocurrency purchases has exceeded $61.6 billion, with an average entry price of $75,527.<\/p>\n<p>The funds for the latest transaction were raised through the sale of Class A common stock and perpetual preferred shares. The <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/microstrategy-aims-to-raise-42-billion-for-bitcoin-purchases\">42\/42<\/a> program aims to raise $84 billion by 2027 for further Bitcoin accumulation.<\/p>\n<p>Despite active purchases, the company&#8217;s position is &#8220;underwater&#8221; by approximately $400 million. For comparison, other top-10 participants, including Twenty One Capital, Metaplanet, and MARA, <a href=\"https:\/\/bitcointreasuries.net\/\">hold<\/a> between 38,000 and 43,000 BTC.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">BitMine and Ethereum<\/h2>\n<p>As of April 19, BitMine Immersion Technologies <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/in\/news-releases\/bitmine-immersion-technologies-bmnr-announces-eth-holdings-reach-4-976-million-tokens-and-total-crypto-and-total-cash-holdings-of-12-9-billion-302746955.html\">holds<\/a> 4,976,485 ETH (over $11.4 billion), accounting for 4.12% of the total market supply of the coin.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, the company purchased 101,627 ETH.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>BitMine&#8217;s head, Tom Lee, noted that the asset demonstrates high resilience amid geopolitical instability and is in demand in the AI and <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-are-rwas-real-world-assets\">asset tokenization<\/a> sectors.<\/p>\n<p>Key figures for BitMine:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The volume of <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-staking-and-how-to-make-money-from-it\">staking<\/a> through its own platform <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bitmine-launches-institutional-ethereum-staking-platform\">MAVAN<\/a> reached 3.3 million ETH ($7.7 billion);<\/li>\n<li>The expected annual income from staking rewards is estimated at $330 million;<\/li>\n<li>Total reserves, including fiat and shares in other projects, reached $12.9 billion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>BitMine holds 199 BTC and partially owns Eightco, which provides access to investments in OpenAI.
