This variant of delegated <span data-descr=\"Proof-of-Stake\" class=\"old_tooltip\">PoS<\/span> allows users to stake tokens while simultaneously providing liquidity for projects within the network.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;In PoL, the only way to contribute to network security is to first perform the &#8216;work&#8217; of providing liquidity to a set of on-chain DeFi primitives\u2014native <span data-descr=\"\u0434\u0435\u0446\u0435\u043d\u0442\u0440\u0430\u043b\u0438\u0437\u043e\u0432\u0430\u043d\u043d\u0430\u044f \u0431\u0438\u0440\u0436\u0430\" class=\"old_tooltip\">DEX<\/span>, derivatives exchange, and stablecoin lending platform,&#8221; the statement reads.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In the network&#8217;s three-token system, users earn BGT for providing liquidity. This coin cannot be sold.<\/p>\n<p>Delegating BGT to validators or various protocols allows users to earn HONEY stablecoins. Additionally, users can burn BGT at any time to receive liquid BERA tokens at a 1:1 ratio.
