She offered to connect him with her acquaintances, described as &#8220;brokers.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Following their advice, the Minsk resident registered on an online platform and initially deposited a small amount. Observing the apparent growth in returns, he took out a loan to purchase more cryptocurrency. In total, the victim invested approximately 65,000 Belarusian rubles ($19,800).<\/p>\n<p>A month later, upon checking his returns, he found only empty wallets. The accounts of his contact and the &#8220;brokers&#8221; had been blocked.<\/p>\n<p>A criminal case has been opened for fraud on a particularly large scale.
