On October 18, the clicker game X Empire conducted a token X airdrop on Telegram and announced its listing date on major cryptocurrency exchanges. Most users were unable to participate in the airdrop due to “non-compliance with criteria.”
According to a statement from the team, the distribution primarily considered:
- the number and activity of invited friends;
- hourly earnings;
- the number of completed tasks.
“Everyone who truly invested time in X Empire gained access to the drop,” noted the game’s creator, Alexander Falcon Sokolovsky.
Ultimately, 6 million X Empire players participated in the distribution, although the app’s total user base exceeds 50 million players with 34 million active users in the past month.
The total issuance of the token amounts to 690 billion X. Of this, 75% — 517.5 billion X — was distributed in the drop.
Inspired by Elon Musk, the clicker was initially named Musk Empire and used a cartoon avatar of the entrepreneur. Subsequently, the number of skins was expanded. However, the tapper is not directly associated with the head of Tesla and SpaceX.
Nonetheless, users seeking justice began to tag Musk in tweets complaining about X Empire. One of them complained about “deception and unfairness.”
They rejected people totally scam and unfair. If somebody works little. Then why they reject those people??? They should give them little tokens as per their pph. But they remove us from the airdrop. Poor x empire and scam. Boycott totally pic.twitter.com/cTHZCZVz1y

“A completely fraudulent project, backed by your name. […] Interrogate the X Empire team. They are just scammers,” added another player.
As of writing, Musk has not commented on any of the appeals.
On October 24, bitcoin exchanges, including OKX and Bybit, will begin trading the X token from X Empire. The clicker team plans to conduct additional coin distributions to active users.
Previously, the anonymous development team of Hamster Kombat hinted at the imminent launch of the second season and commented on the decline in the HMSTR price.
