On December 19, the L2 solution based on OP Stack, Xterio Chain, claimed the top spot in DappRadar’s daily gaming rankings and reached 10 million addresses. The project also secured fourth place in the overall UAW rankings over 24 hours.
According to DappRadar, this achievement was bolstered by the launch of the Web3 game BeFriend AI last week.
BeFriend AI combines AI modeling with Web3 asset creation tools. The game offers creators a platform to craft stories using artificial intelligence, which other players can then experience.

In 2023, Swiss company Xterio received $15 million in investments from Binance Labs. The total funds raised amounted to $80 million, including contributions from Animoca Ventures, Makers Fund, Funplus, and DST Global. Strategic partners of the project include Hashkey and Animoca Ventures, along with exclusive collaboration rights with Reka AI.

Earlier, on December 18, developers at the cryptocurrency exchange Kraken launched the mainnet of the L2 solution Ink. It also operates on Optimism technology and will be compatible with all networks on the OP Stack.
