On March 21, Armstrong announced that a warrant had been issued for his arrest for harassing Judge Kimberly Childs. The basis was emails sent by the blogger, although he claimed to be acting as his own attorney.

Allegedly, following this, Childs deleted her X account.

“Public officials hiding corruption one day at a time,” stated BitBoy.

The status of the detainee is marked as “fugitive from justice.” According to reports online, Armstrong faces up to three years in prison.

In August 2024, the blogger, along with NBA star Jimmy Butler, settled a class action lawsuit over promoting Binance. They agreed to pay a total of $340,000 in a settlement, with Armstrong’s share amounting to $40,000.

BitBoy was also a defendant in a class action lawsuit for the “active promotion” of the collapsed crypto exchange FTX.
