The new head of YouTube, replacing Susan Wojcicki, стал the video-platform’s chief product officer, Neil Mohan, who backs technologies related to digital assets.

In October 2022, Google, the owner of YouTube, introduced a Web3-focused developer cloud service, Blockchain Node Engine. It is designed to simplify deploying nodes.
In November, Google Cloud announced adding support for the Solana blockchain to Blockchain Node Engine. The service also deployed a node on the project’s network.
In September, Google launched a countdown to the activation of the Merge upgrade on the Ethereum network. Later the search engine began displaying wallet balances of the second-largest cryptocurrency.
