Following the disruption on September 27, block formation slowed. Two days later, a similar incident led to a temporary complete halt of the process.
Developers clarified that the issues are not related to the Zilliqa 2.0 update.

Several crypto investors reported difficulties accessing funds in the ZilPay wallet, according to Cointelegraph.
At the time of writing, the network is operating smoothly.
The network team is working on a “permanent patch.”

Back in May, Zilliqa faced similar issues. In December 2023, the network did not process blocks for over half a day. In July 2022, developers had to restart the protocol following a smart contract failure.
In August 2024, block production difficulties were observed in the TON network.
