11-year-dormant Bitcoin wallet moves 1,037 BTC worth $31 million

An inactive wallet, idle for more than 11 years, moved all its 1,037 BTC worth about $31 million.

Unknown Bitcoin whale sold the assets at a price of $29,956 per BTC.

At their peak in November 2021, these Bitcoins were worth around $71.6 million.

According to Glassnode, the share of the first cryptocurrency that has not moved in the last two years reached a historical high at 53%.

Earlier in April 2022, unknowns moved 250 BTC from five wallets that had been dormant for more than 12 years.

A year later 6,071 BTC moved, held for nine years.

In May 2023, an eight-year-dormant address moved 8,000 ETH worth $14.7 million.

Earlier an unknown sender transferred 2.04 million DOGE to another wallet, which had been held since December 31, 2013.
