
Former BlockShow CEO to Host FORKED Conference in Hong Kong
On May 8-9, Hong Kong will host the Web3 conference FORKED. The event is expected to gather around 1,000 participants from the crypto industry, including venture capitalists, company executives, developers, and journalists, as reported by the event’s organizers to ForkLog.
Interested parties must submit a preliminary application on the conference website. A ticket will be issued only upon approval by the FORKED team.

FORKED is organized by Eddie Kriz, the founder and former CEO of BlockShow.
“The name is inspired by the historic Ethereum hard fork in 2016, as FORKED emerged from unforeseen circumstances and symbolizes the resilience and ingenuity of founders in overcoming challenges. The same team that contributed to BlockShow’s success is behind FORKED,” the press release states.
Among the speakers at the conference are:
- CEO of Animoca Brands, Robby Yung;
- Co-founder and CEO of Memeland, 9GAG, Ray Chan;
- Co-founder and COO of Manta Network, Kenny Li;
- Co-founder and CEO of Sky Mavis, Trung Nguyen;
- CFO of Illuvium, Danny Wilson.
The event is co-organized by the metaverse startup Highstreet. Media co-hosts include Rug Radio and Decrypt, with strategic partners ARC Community, AngelHack, Coinhako, and QCP Capital.
Earlier, on April 12-13, the ForkLog team will host the AllTimeHalf 2024 conference in celebration of the Bitcoin halving, featuring crypto developers, entrepreneurs, enthusiasts, and visionaries.
