Nicolas Cage Voices Concerns Over AI Use in Hollywood

Actor Nicolas Cage has expressed concern about the potential use of artificial intelligence in Hollywood. He shared his thoughts in an interview with The New Yorker.

Specifically, he is worried about AI being used to alter his image after undergoing a “scanning” procedure for shows and films.

“Well, they’ll have to put me in a computer, match the color of my eyes and change—I don’t know. They’re just going to steal my body and do whatever they want with it using digital AI. God, I hope it’s not AI. It terrifies me. I’ve been very vocal about it,” said the Hollywood actor.

He further expressed concern about the direction of creative studios and control over his body.

“[…] I wonder, you know, where will the truth of artists end up? Will it be replaced? Will it be distorted? Where will the pulse be? I mean, what are you going to do with my body and face when I die? I don’t want you to do anything with it!” Cage said.
